BBS-BHMS Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management
Introduction
Objective

This course is the logical progression for holders of the Diploma in Hospitality Management and is designed to provide an understanding of managerial decision making and leadership aspects of the international hotel industry. You will learn the operation of a hotel from a departmental manager’s perspective and the syllabus has business administration techniques and practical skills that are required by those aspiring to senior management roles within the industry.

• HRM - Human Resource Management
• RMLT – Research Methods for Leisure and Tourism
• MRR - Management Research Report
Mode of Delivery
The programme is delivered through classroom lectures, group and individual assignments, case studies, in-class exercises and industry visits where appropriate.

Full – time
9 months (Theory)
Monday to Friday, 3 hours per session

6 months (Work experience programme)
44 hours per week

Awarding Body

The Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management is jointly awarded by BBS and BHMS.

It is compulsory for students to also take CTH exams in order to have the privilege of getting another internationally recognized qualification as the syllabi are the same.
