Introduction
Objective
The hospitality industry is one of the largest industries in the world. Each year, progressively more meals and bed nights are purchased, which is why the hotel industry is experiencing rapid growth. Customers are becoming ever more demanding in their requirements for high standards of service and facilities. It is only through organised and structured training that the industry can meet these expectations. That is why this course aims to provide you with a broad understanding of the operational aspects of the international hotel industry and knowledge of the underlying principles involved.

FHHS - Food Hygiene, Health and Safety
FO Ops - Front Office Operations
HA Ops - Housekeeping and Accommodation Operations
Fin - Finance for Hospitality and Tourism
Bus Ops - Business Operations in Hospitality and Tourism
Mktg - Marketing for Tourism and Hospitality
Tourism - The Tourism Industry
GHI - The Global Hospitality Industry
Mode of Delivery
The programme is delivered through classroom lectures, group and individual assignments, case studies, in-class exercises and industry visits where appropriate.

Full – time

Monday to Friday, 3 hours per session

6 months (Work experience programme)
