Refund Process
Boston Business School has a fair and reasonable refund policy for any payment made.
Notification and Arrangement
Boston Business School shall inform students immediately within 3 working days if:
Boston Business School fails, for any reason, to commence course on commencement date
Boston Business School terminates course for any reason prior to course commencement date
Boston Business School fails, for any reason, to complete course by completion date
Boston Business School terminates course for any reason prior to course completion date
Student Pass application is rejected by Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA).
Boston Business School shall cancel or postpone course if less than 5 students are enrolled on or prior to commencement date. Likewise, Boston Business School shall cancel or postpone course if less than 5 students are retained prior to completion date.
Within 7 working days of notifying cancellation or postponement of course, Boston Business School shall provide students with information to make timely and appropriate decision on alternative course arrangement.
Withdrawal for Cause
Students shall be entitled to immediately withdraw from course by giving written notice to Boston Business School their intention to do so if Boston Business School is in breach of any of its obligations or fails to perform its obligations under circumstances stated in Notification and Arrangement.
Refunds for Withdrawal for Cause
For circumstances stated in Notification and Arrangement, Boston Business School shall, within 7 working days after notifying students, refund to students entire amount of course fees and miscellaneous fees.
Boston Business School shall also, within 7 working days after receiving students’ notice of withdrawal under Withdrawal for Cause refund to students entire amount of course fees and miscellaneous fees.
Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause
Where students withdraw from course for any reason other than those set out in Withdrawal for Cause, Boston Business School shall, within 7 working days after receiving students’ written notice of withdrawal refund to students following sums:
 
% of aggregate of course fees and miscellaneous fees
if student's written notice of withdrawal is received
100% (‘Maximum Refund’) More than 14 days before commencement date.
90% Before, but not more than 14 days before commencement date.
75% After, but not more than 7 days after commencement date.
30% More than 7 days but not more than 14 days after commencement date.
0% More than 14 days after commencement date.
Cooling-Off Period
Boston Business School shall provide students with a cooling-off period of 7 working days after signing Standard PEI-Student Contract. Within these 7 days and regardless whether course commencement date has passed, students can submit written notice of withdrawal to Boston Business School and receive maximum refund as stipulated by Boston Business School under conditions of Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause less any course fees and miscellaneous fees consumed by students if withdrawal date is later than commencement date and students have started course.
Any dispute in respect of how much course fees have been consumed pursuant to this policy shall be referred to mediation at Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) through CPE Student Services Centre and only in respect of such decision, decision of Singapore Mediation Centre (SMC) or Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) shall be final and binding on all parties.
Boston Business School shall also bring to students’ notice Schedule 3 of Standard PEI-Student Contract by notifying students of their rights under cooling-off period, and receive written acknowledgement by students that Schedule 3 has been brought to their notice. In event that notice in Schedule 3 has not been brought to students’ attention, cooling-off period of 7 working days shall only commence from date that Schedule 3 has been brought to students’ notice, and students has acknowledged the same. Students shall have right to withdraw from course and receive a refund as stated in Cooling-Off Period anytime before notice in Schedule 3 has been brought to students’ attention.
Deemed Withdrawal
Students who transfer from one course to another course within Boston Business School shall, for purposes of this refund policy, be deemed to have withdrawn from course and provisions of Refunds for Withdrawal Without Cause shall apply unless otherwise agreed between Boston Business School and students.
Change of Course
In addition to conditions of Deemed Withdrawal, a new Standard PEI-Student Contract shall be executed between Boston Business School and students for any change of course, whether within Boston Business School or otherwise.
